General

Thoense is a part of Burgwedel. Only 1.500 people live here, so the quarter is very quiet and ideal for relaxing. Thoense is surrounded by woodland, so that you can take a walk through the beautiful country side. Some bed and breakfast rooms are offerd by us in Thoense.


Leisure time

After a long and hard day you can take a walk through this little village to relax. When you are hungry, you can go to the guesthouse Lege(*1) in the Engenserstraße in the northly part of Thoense.


Provisioning

In Großburgwedel (westly situated, approximately 5 minutes by car) are some supermarkets like LIDL(*2), ALDI(*3) and REWE(*4). There are also 2 banks (Sparkasse Hannover(*5) and Dresdner Bank(*6)  with EC cashpoints. In Wettmar (northly, ca. 5 minutes by car) is also an apothecary, the Birken Apotheke.(*7)


Approaches

• The trade fair is reachable in approximately 60 minutes. (bus no. 621, then the train "Metronom 80853" and after that the city railway no. 6). The trade fair journey with the car takes approx 25 minutes.
• The main station is reachable in ca. 38 minutes. (bus no. 621, then train "Metronom 80853")
• The airport is reachable in approx. 50 minutes. (bus no. 621, then train "Metronom 80853" and then S-Bahn S5)
